Hobbies
The things I do in my free time consists of playing basketball, cycling (both mountain bike and road bike), and also exploring the city.
Cycling, both mountain biking and road biking, is therapeutic to me. I wouldn't consider myself an experienced cyclist but more of a hobbyist/enthusiast. I have an interest in this hobby because it is one of the very few cardiovascular activity in which I can sustain more than 10 minutes as compared to running/jogging. I currently ride at Rowlett Creek Preserve and White Rock Lake
I have a major interest in NBA and playing recreational basketball. During my free time, I like to play casual pick-up basketball games at the local recreation center or the gym.
I'm passionate about this sport because it is a social sport and it is popular, I can find people playing anywhere. I enjoy it because playing pick-up with random teammates is challenging. I assess the teams I play with and within the first 4 minutes of each game, I already know what the team's strengths and weaknesses are. Then I adjust myself accordingly to the team's weaknesses.
I'm a team-oriented person and I also self-proclaim myself a strategist as well. Just like how the Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, I believe effective teamwork can take an organization to another whole level.
